Wouldn’t life be great if everyone just agreed all the time? We here at The Devil’s Advocates Movie Reviews couldn’t disagree more. In fact we disagree so much we made it the theme of our site.


People can’t always agree. And sometimes people want to read contrasting views about a subject. We have decided to give you those contrasting views, even if we’re not 100% behind that view.

For each movie we see, you will get a regular review and a Devil’s Advocate review. The Devil’s Advocate review gives you insight into what the reviewer found wrong with a film they really enjoyed or what they thought were the redeeming qualities of a film they disliked.

We will attempt to review new theatrical releases as often as possible, but from time to time you will find a new DVD release reviewed or a “retro” review (maybe something we’ve wanted to review for a while, but never had the chance).
